The Home for the Homeless
Northern Ireland has an acute problem of homelessness, with 1 in 18 (5.7%) of all adults in the province said they had experienced homelessness, and 1.4% saying this happened in the last five years. Services for the homeless provided by a range of organisations are limited. The range of services includes emergency night shelters to hostels where individuals stay for extended periods in anticipation of being eventually rehoused...
Social Housing Today... Nowadays, a number of people are facing with the problem of home shortage. Some families are living in desperate conditions are being forced to wait years for a suitable home. They may have to live for months on end in temporary accommodation such as hostel/BnBs, or how much longer they will have to wait for stability. Instead of tackling economic and political regulation, the project proposes a shared living system with different social classes.
